Heard Capital is a long-only investment firm focused on identifying high-conviction investment opportunities in the financials, industrials, technology, telecommunications and media (TMT) sectors.
The firm was founded in 2011 and currently manages approximately $2 billion in assets (as of January 1, 2025) on behalf of our investors. Our investor base consists of leading endowments, foundations, pensions and select family offices.
Our High Conviction Long-Only strategy takes a multi-year, fundamental and concentrated approach to public equity investment opportunities.
We invest in companies that we believe provide long- term solutions to key sector level debates. We focus on companies that we believe possess a durable moat, demonstrate clear alignment of interests with shareholders and maintain a strong “say-to-do” ratio, but are misunderstood by market participants, resulting in the potential for profitable growth and compounding of capital in any environment.
Our differentiated investment process results in a factor-agnostic portfolio which we believe is designed to outperform market benchmarks over the long term.
The Credit Opportunity strategy will seek to provide capital to and partner with middle-market businesses that we believe are misunderstood or viewed as being overly complex.
The Credit Opportunity strategy will employ its debate-driven process to identify select opportunities across companies in the TMT, financial and industrial sectors that we believe provide attractive risk-adjusted returns. The strategy will seek to minimize downside risk through disciplined underwriting, a deep knowledge of company and sector dynamics, and an engaged approach with management.
